The short version: SAG Tool uses only one essential session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies. No advertising cookies. No third-party analytics. You can use the free audit without any cookies at all.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They are used for a range of purposes from keeping you logged in to tracking your behavior across the web. SAG Tool uses only the first kind — and only when you are signed in.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| session | Keeps you authenticated while signed in to your SAG Tool account | Essential | Session — expires on sign out or browser close |
That is the complete list. One cookie. Essential only. Set only when you sign in.
SAG Tool does not use:
Yes. The free audit on the landing page requires no account and sets no cookies. You can run three free audits with cookies completely disabled in your browser. Cookies are only set when you choose to sign in to an account.
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling the SAG Tool session cookie will sign you out of your account. The free audit will continue to work without cookies.
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies as part of the OAuth authentication process. These are Google's cookies and are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. SAG Tool does not control or access these cookies.
If we add any new cookies we will update this policy and notify users by email. We commit to never adding tracking or advertising cookies without explicit consent.
